What is the plan for the city over the next 25 years? The Philadelphia City Planning Commission (PCPC) has been working since 2009 on its Philadelphia2035 Vision and Comprehensive Plan. The Comprehensive Plan consists of a Citywide Vision, an overarching policy document and blueprint for how the city should grow and develop over the next twenty-five years, and 18 District Plans, smaller-area ten-year plans that touch every corner of Philadelphia. Along with producing the plan, PCPC has been working on making the plan a reality by leveraging an additional $21 million for studies, construction documents and build-out for recommendations directly from the District Plans. This event will be an open-house style opportunity to learn more about 10 of the implementation projects that PCPC’s planners have been working on, including sites in South, West, Southwest, Center City, Northeast, and Northwest Philadelphia, as well as the Citizens Planning Institute.
